I've watched some of it - Five go adventuring again, in disguise - it seems so far.

Just watching the 2nd episode.
The biggest issue with this show is the fact the woman playing George can't act which in turn means the character is pretty unlikeable.
That said, there are some nice locations and it's well shot. I quite like the soundtrack, but then I like my music to have plenty of synth in it.

I've just finished the second episode, having enjoyed the first one months ago. I really liked both and shall certainly be watching the third instalment. I liked the sighting of Nessie at the end. It's odd how the music seems to be from the late 1980s.

I've just got to the 20-minute mark, where the fugitive gets taken. The male captor fetches that pen with the plastic case covered with coloured bands from the apprehended man's pocket while searching him. It looks anachronistically modern for 1939, which I believe is when this is set.

Yes, and he asked George for full fat milk. Did low fat milk even exist in the 1930s? I wish it would make it's mind up what it is and stick to it. The fact that none of the stories bear the slightest resemblance to the books annoys me.

George's striped top is improbably modern looking for the era it's set in.

It sounds like you started more than half way through, then.

I've got to fifteen minutes before the end. It's too early for it to be all's well that ends well, as it seems on the face of it. I'm expecting some big twist.

Just started watching episode three. Can anyone recommend a good migraine cure having watched the title sequence which looked like it was done by the office junior, on MSpaint, using windows95…
Also, asking for ‘full fat’ milk in 1939? Was there any other kind back then.

Going to get round to trying part 3 tonight. Much more interested in the new series of Malory Towers which starts on 10th June. I have really enjoyed series 1 to 4 which are all still on iPlayer.
